Fragen zu Inmarsat

  • Textnachricht an Email Adresse über WinLink

    Wenn Sie eine Textnachricht von Ihrem Inmarsat-Telefon über den Dienst WinLink an eine Email-Adresse senden möchten, muss folgende Absender-Adresse bei WinLink in der Whitelist freigeschaltet sein:

    Ihre Telefonnummer@message.inmarsat.com

    Bei nicht erfolgter Freischaltung werden die Textnachrichten von und zum Telefon nicht zugestellt.

  • Guthabenabfrage bei IsatPhone Pro SIM Karten

    Sie können beim IsatPhone Pro kostenfrei das Guthaben abfragen, indem Sie *106# eingeben und dann die grüne Taste drücken. Sie erhalten nach einigen Sekunden eine Anzeige auf dem Display, die Ihnen Auskunft über den aktuellen Guthabenstand gibt.

  • Nutzung von Skype

    IsatPhone Pro
    Auf Grund der geringen Datenübertragungsrate von derzeit 2,4kbps des Inmarsat-Netzwerkes ist eine Nutzung von Skype (mit dem Satellitentelefon als Modem) nicht möglich.

    BGAN, FBB, etc.
    Alle BGAN bzw. FBB basierten Satellitenterminals sind mit ausreichend Bandbreite versehen, um normale Anrufe mittels Skype tätigen zu können. Videotelefonie bzw. Bildschirmübertragung ist schwieriger, da die maximalen Übertragungsraten nicht bei allen Geräten ausreichen. Erschwerend kommt hinzu, dass diese maximalen Übertragungsraten ein theoretischer Wert sind. Die tatsächlichen Datenraten sind u.a. auch davon abhängig, wie viele andere Geräte sich im gleichen Spot des Satelliten befinden und demnach zu einem Sharing der Datenrate führen. Sollte also Videotelefonie notwendig bzw. gewünscht sein, so müssten Sie IP-Streaming mit einer ausreichenden Bandbreite aktivieren lassen.

  • Kostenlos eine Nachricht an ein IsatPhone senden

    Die Kommunikation mit einem Satellitentelefon unterscheidet sich von der herkömmlichen mittels Festnetz- oder Mobilfunkgeräten. Möchte man jemanden erreichen, der ein Satellitentelefon benutzt, ergibt sich die Frage, ob das Gerät in diesem Moment eingeschaltet ist und entsprechenden Satellitenempfang hat. Außerdem ist ein Anruf auf einem Satellitentelefon ziemlich teuer. Deshalb ist es im Allgemeinen besser, dem Nutzer des Satellitentelefons eine Nachricht mit der Bitte um Rückruf zu senden. Der Empfang ist für den Nutzer des Satellitentelefons kostenlos.

    via Email
    Sie können eine Email an das Satellitentelefon senden, hierfür benötigen Sie lediglich die Telefonnummer.

    • Erstellen Sie eine neue Email in dem von Ihnen genutzten Mailprogramm
    • In das An-Feld tragen Sie die Telefonnummer ohne führende Nullen gefolgt von @message.inmarsat.com ein (z.B. 87077xxxxxxx@message.inmarsat.com )
    • Das Betreff-Feld wird nicht übertragen und kann leer bleiben
    • Der eigentliche Nachrichtentext kommt in das normale Textfeld, es stehen insgesamt 160 Zeichen zur Verfügung, Textumbrüche zählen als ein Zeichen
    • Versenden Sie die Email (eventuell beschwert sich Ihr Mailprogramm wegen der leeren Betreffzeile, entweder können Sie die Mail trotzdem versenden oder Sie tragen etwas im Betreff ein, was allerdings nicht an das Satellitentelefon übertragen wird)

    Der Empfänger erhält die Email auf dem Satellitentelefon in der Form: Email-Adresse gefolgt vom Nachrichtentext der Email.

  • Fehlermeldung: Phone unable to connect to the network, contact your SP if problem persist

    To restore factory Settings
    Select Menu > Settings > Reset settings > Enter 123456 > Ok

    To Perform a GPS Fix manually
    Select Menu > GPS position > Wait for a while until you get a display showing GPS fix acquired.

    Note: On rare occasions, your phone may continue to show the GPS fix required icon, on your handset which means GPS not valid in order for register with network and this case you need leave your handset at least for 20-30 Minutes to get the new GPS fix.

    To Search for Network manually
    Select Menu > Network connectivity > Network selection > Change to manual

    Now the handset will search for the network manually and it may take 10-20 minutes and register with network.

  • SMS an Empfänger-Gruppe

    Bitte beachten Sie „SMS vom Isatphone senden„.

    Wenn man eine SMS an eine bestehende Empfänger-Gruppe versendet, wird diese Textnachricht an die jeweils erste Telefonnummer der Gruppenmitglieder zugestellt.

    Wenn Sie also eine SMS an mehrere Mobilnummern versenden wollen, achten Sie darauf, dass die Mobilnummern im ersten Feld „Telephone“ stehen und nicht im dritten Feld „Mobile phone“.

    Die Benennung der Felder erfordert also nicht zwingend eine Fest- oder Mobilnummer. Wenn die SMS an eine Festnetznummer versendet wird, wird diese, sofern vom Telefon-Provider des Adressaten unterstützt, als elektronische Sprachnachricht übermittelt.

  • BGAN Error CME100 oder CME_100

    Diese Fehlermeldung deutet darauf hin, dass das Netzwerk oder das Terminal einen Befehl des Launchpad nicht interpretieren kann. Im Allgemeinen liegt das an der Verwendung von veralteter Software. Hier finden Sie die aktuelle Firmware und die aktuelle Version des Launchpad: Inmarsat Downloads

  • SMS vom Isatphone senden

    Generell möchten wir Ihnen hiervon abraten. Selbst wenn Ihnen das Isatphone signalisiert, dass die SMS ordnunggemäß versandt wurde, kommt diese vermutlich aufgrund fehlender Vertragsabkommen leider nicht an.

    Wir empfehlen statt dessen Textnachrichten als eMails zu versenden:

    Über das Menü „Messaging“ > „New Message“ können Sie eine E-Mail schreiben. Im Fall einer E-Mail muss in das Adressfeld (zu erreichen über die Hoch-Taste) eine Email-Adresse eingetragen werden. Wenn Sie die Nachricht geschrieben haben, können Sie diese über „Optionen“ > „Senden“ versenden.

    WICHTIG: die Betreffzeile wird nicht versendet und darf daher leer bleiben!
    Im Menü „Messaging“ > „Options“ > „Settings“ > „Text msg. Settings“ > „Use same message centre“ MUSS die Einstellung „YES“ eingestellt sein. (Voreinstellung)
